Retinal Efficient Whitening Material CAS 116-31-4 Vitamin A Aldehyde The Source Material Of A Alcohol Family

DropBrigt®Retinal is a vitamin A product.

Retinoic acid (RA), the most bioactive form of vitamin A that is directly available to human cells, is one of the most well-documented photoaging treatments in the skin care/dermatology community today.

However, A-acid is too irritating to be used in daily care, and it is prohibited as A prescription drug ingredient (Tretinoin) in skin care products and OTC drugs.

Retinaldehyde (RAL) is a derivative of retinol, which is formed by oxidative cleavage of β-carotene. Retinol is obtained by reduction and retinoic acid is obtained by oxidation. Retinaldehyde, an intermediate metabolite of natural retinoic acid, is the only natural vitamin A with similar biological activities as retinoic acid, but milder than retinoic acid.

It has been clinically validated that retinal is converted into retinoic acid 11-fold faster than Retinol 11 and stimulates collagen production 1000-fold higher than retinol.

Clinical studies have shown that pregnant women who take more than 2500μg of vitamin A overdose may cause fetal malformations, and the proportion of vitamin A content added in skin care products is small and does not produce physiological toxicity.

However, for safety reasons, pregnant and lactating women are advised to use this ingredient with caution.
