In 1876 bromelain was discovered. Later, in 1957,Heinicke found high concentrations of bromelain in pineapple stems.From then on ,Bromelain is treated as a medical treatment.

DropCare®BMA is the main component of thiol protein hydrolysis.
Pineapple proteinase contains peroxide enzyme, acid phosphatase, several kinds of protease inhibitors and Organic bonded calcium.
DropCare®BMA is considered to have very low toxicity, with an LD50 greater than 10 g/kg.
The dosage of 1.5 g/kg/ day has no carcinogenic or teratogenic effect on rats.
In human clinical trials, side effects are generally not observed.
